Joanna and Rob were getting married in a beach setting on the coast of South Carolina, and they wanted everyone who attended to kick back, relax, and have a mini-vacation getaway while they’re at it. No formalities here – they asked for beach-y color palette and lots of fun clues of all the good times to be had. For the save-the-date, I designed a coaster printed in 2 colors, with a magnet on the back, with matching envelope.
Next, for the main invitation suite, we decided to make a splash, and went with turquoise blue and orange-coral hues – summery, beach & pool vibes, and good times ahead! The main invite was done in ‘reverse’ – the “rainbow-roll” printing technique impressed the blended ink color into the paper, while all the text and graphics in white were left out, and therefore raised. In addition to this, a custom drink coaster used at the table settings and at the reception’s bar added an extra touch. The entire suite represented their extended wedding weekend just right!
