One moose is a moose. Many moose are still moose. Got that? Big, a bit blind, and definitely goofy looking, but that what makes them so lovable, especially around holidays! The word “moose” comes from an Algonquin Indian word meaning “twig-eater”. This is a very appropriate name considering that their diet consists mainly of leaves and twigs.
