Pepper Press is a design & letterpress studio located in beautiful Brooklyn, New York founded in 2011 by Ursula Hershey (that’s me – hi!), a graphic designer turned letterpress printer. Everything offered is designed and printed  in-house on vintage Chandler & Price and Vandercook presses.

I also work on custom creations: save-the-dates, wedding invitations, business cards, 80’s dance parties, debutante balls, Oscar soirees; you know, all the important stuff. In addition, I happily offer printing services: your pre-designed files which we will letterpress print for you according to your specifications (please inquire via email).

Our planet is of great importance, and besides making people happy by creating beautiful printed pieces, the studio practices strive to be as gentle on the environment as possible: the cotton paper is made from garment manufacturing scraps (you’d never know, it feels that luxurious!); non-cotton paper and envelopes are made from recycled paper; cellophane sleeves used for packaging are biodegradable – they’re made from plants, not plastic; use eco-friendly press clean-up wash; small paper pieces, scraps, etc are used for tags, etc, and other various crafty endeavors.
